Role

​

As the lead mechanical designer you will help to conceive, design and bring to production future versions of our unmanned aircrafts. Your chief responsibility is designing and developing the structural components of our aircraft across the entire life cycle - from concept to detailed design, testing and production. You will design the aircraft structure in concert with other engineering groups and departments.

 

Required

• Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or other relevant programs

• Strong knowledge of a CAD system is a must (Solidworks, AutoCAD or CATIA)

• Experience in development of Mechanical System Architecture, Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), statistical tolerance analysis techniques, functional dimensioning, and geometric tolerancing.

• More than 3 years experience in structural and mechanical design

• Demonstrated knowledge and ability to integrate state-of-the-art design and manufacturing methods into product concepts and designs

• Experience with composite structural design is preferred

• Strong analytical/problem solving skills and mechanical engineering analysis

• Strong materials knowledge. Good understanding of different materials and grades

• Application experience of finite element analysis theory and ability to use statistical tools

• Flexible and enjoy working in a constantly evolving environment
