F-drones’ vision is a world where maritime logistics is more efficient and sustainable. We develop and operate proprietary aerial delivery drones, which can ultimately deliver 100kg loads over 100km, to ships and offshore platforms. F-drones is the first company in the world to provide 24-hour commercial beyond-visual-line-of-sight (BVLOS) drone deliveries.
Nicolas was with the Singapore government for the past 10 years, bringing foreign investments into Singapore and shaping the development of various industries. Key sectors were in aerospace, energy, mining and oil & gas industries.
Nicolas has been a strong advocate of pioneering new areas. Between 2009-2013, he led the set-up of Singapore’s Office for Space Technology & Industry and helped secure S$90 million to nurture this sector. He had also worked closely with Airbus Defence & Space, the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) and multiple stakeholders in the spaceplane project.
Nicolas graduated from the National University of Singapore, with Hons in Mechanical Engineering (Aeronautical).
Yeshwanth has designed, built and operated various types of autonomous drones over the last 6 years, including transitional drones (VTOL + Fixed Wing).
He previously co-founded AUS, India's first ever commercial drone company. AUS is now valued over US$10 million and its investors include 500 Startups, 3one4 capital and GrowX ventures. With more than 1 million hectares of land surveyed and more than 10,000 hours of drone flights, AUS now owns about 60% of India's surveying drone market.
Yeshwanth graduated from IIT Bombay with Master in Aerospace Engineering (Aerodynamics). He was also its General Secretary Academic Affairs.
Mr Sharples was formerly the CEO of Airbus Helicopters Southeast Asia, where he had P&L responsibility for S$200 million revenues and 300 staff across 15 countries. His customers include offshore players in the region, which could also be our customers.
Previously, he was responsible for Group after-sales services, generating S$2.25 billion revenues with 1,500 staff. He has held various top management positions in Airbus commercial aircraft and was a senior military officer in the Royal Navy. Mr Sharples has extensive board level experience as Chairman and Board Director of companies in Asia and Europe.
Aircraft Development Engineer
Prateek has more than 4 years of experience in research, prototyping and design of autonomous drones.
He has done research on autonomous helicopters at IIT Kanpur and developed drones at AUS, India's first-ever commercial drone company. He also previously co-founded a hyper-local Indoor Hydroponics company.
Prateek graduated from Amity University with a Bachelor in Aerospace Engineering.
Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Systems Engineer
Indraneel has been building and flying aircrafts for 10 years. He won the 2019 Boeing National Aeromodelling competition and other similar competitions across India. He previously co-founded The Skyroopers, which supports design and analysis of model aircrafts in national and international SAE Aircraft Design competitions.
As the UAS Systems Engineer for F-drones in India, Indraneel oversees systems integration, testing of Unmanned Aircrafts in India and CAD design.

Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Systems Engineer
Gowtham's interest with aviation and UAVs started from his days in the National Cadet Corps (Air), where he was an Aeromodelling Instructor. He has extensive experience in flying various fixed-wing and multi-rotor crafts. Prior to F-drones, Gowtham was the Project Lead in Neo Aeronautics, he was involved in the design of various UAS Platforms, ranging from Automated Container Inspections to Urban Air Mobility Vehicles.
As the UAS Systems Engineer for F-drones, Gowtham oversees the systems integration, testing of Unmanned Aircrafts and validating Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Operation Methodologies.
Gowtham graduated from National University of Singapore with a Hons in Mechanical Engineering (Aeronautical).

Ajay has more than 9 years of experience in marketing and communications, across automotive and government sectors. Apart from Singapore, Ajay had also developed marketing programs that led to the growth of new trends and premium products in the Indian market. He has always been fascinated with technology and robotics, a passion he has pursued in his younger days through participation in national-level competitions.
Ajay graduated from the University of South Australia with a Bachelor in Communications and Media Management, and is currently pursuing a second Bachelor in Computer Science from Murdoch University.
